Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, who was an actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They got married in 2009 and married in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. They renewed their vows on April 10th 2011 at Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 she was cast as the main role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant during the filming of Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in an exclusive Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its prominence on social media has grown to a huge online fan base.
